"Seeing what Pets Reducing for Rescues (now Fit Pets for Rescues) has done for a number of our "over-loved" cats has been a joy to watch. The work that Dr. Ken and his team do is outstanding and life changing for not only the animals, but the owners as well. And to top it off, the money raised each year has made a significant impact on our programs. We've been so appreciative to partner with Dr. Ken and his team over the years."

"Dr. Ken, Cheyene, and everyone at West Towne Veterinary Center have provided such an awesome service to the community with their pet weight loss program over the years. They've also gone above and beyond, by providing boarding and care for a number of our cats over the years who were in need of adoptive forever homes. Some of these cats have been in extreme need of weight loss, and Dr. Ken and crew didn't bat an eye at the work ahead. They helped our cats get to much healthier weights, and offered support to adopters so they could keep the cats on the right path. So not only did WTVC/Fit Pets for Rescues help save lives we wouldn't have otherwise been able to save through fostering/boarding them, these pets also left Bug’s Cat Gym considerably healthier and happier than before, with wonderfully bright futures. In addition to all of this, the clinic raised funds for our animals and thousands of dollars have been donated over the years. This has allowed us to take in animals who really needed our help.
Thank you, West Towne!"

Dr. Ken and the folks at West Towne Veterinary Center have been really wonderful in helping us with our difficult to place, overweight cats. A shelter isn’t a great place for healthy weight loss, and the stress of change associated with transfer to a new setting doesn’t help either. Having WTVC/Bug’s Cat Gym as an option for cats that need controlled nutrition, encouragement to exercise, and expert monitoring of weight loss has really improved our ability to find homes for larger cats. I’ve lost track of the number of very stressed-out cats that we’ve sent to WTVC for foster, and several days later gotten an update that they’ve settled in and made themselves at home In Bug’s Cat Gym. We’re very thankful for this partnership!

“All of us at Dane County Humane Society are proud to partner with West Towne Veterinary Center on so many projects! From helping our foster cats get to a healthy weight at Bug’s Cat Gym to offering fun competitions to keep pet health top of mind, the crew at WTVC is always working hard to keep pets feeling good. As DCHS is an independent, nonprofit shelter, WTVC also understands how the vital funds raised through these projects help people and animals in our community. Their donations to DCHS from Fit Pets for Rescues over the years have made a tremendous difference!”

I started using HPC after my cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and we have since made a cross-country move. Through these major stressors, HPC has helped me feel more informed and able to actively support my cat’s health and well-being. I love knowing there is a whole HPC team behind my cat’s care.

The HPC platform has provided an easy-to-use platform to share information on a daily basis with my Veterinary Clinic. I find it very helpful to monitor the progress to increase my cat's weight (1.5#) after her loss of too much over the first part of this year.
