2024 in the Rearview Mirror...Wow what a ride!

What a year it has been! 

Quarter by quarter here is a recap of what Team Healthy Pet Connect accomplished in 2024. 

On behalf of the team words cannot express our appreciation for all the support, perspectives & real feedback! 

As we are out to build the best "pet to vet" Remote Monitoring Platform and we don’t need/want any “sugarcoating” TIA!


QTR 1    “An epic 2024 start”

     1)  Rolled out our new HPC veterinary dashboard & pet parent apps
         (Apple & Playstore) created by Joe Muller, a truly amazing guy,
         developer and partner!

     2)  Attended VMX, WVC and Global Pet with lots of great partner meetings
         and conversations.

     3)  Sponsored our first Fit Pets for Rescues (FPR)  NATIONWIDE Pilot

• 19 participating pets
• 15 pets lost weight
• 7 participating clinics & rescues
• 7 sponsors (Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets, The myBalto Foundation, sylvester.ai, Basepaws, EpiPaws, WaldoPet, & Dezi & Roo)
• 5 states and one province had challengers
• 4 cats over 25# (2 started over 40#)
• 3 virtual & live weigh-ins held
• 2 “powered by” long term partners (Healthy Pet Connect & The myBalto Foundation)
• Over $5000 in clinic, rescue, and pet parent prizes awarded
• Over $2500 raised for rescues

Qtr 2  “Spreading the word to veterinarians & pet parents” 


     1)  Sponsored at the EveryCat Conference at NC State (pain & osteoarthritis
           focus) Over 150 veterinarians & super devoted cat caregivers/pet
           parents in attendance.

     2)   Sponsored at the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition (AAVN)
           Meeting in MPLS  They always ask the tough questions! :)

​      3)   Attended Kitty Palooza a madison area rescue fair for Madison Cat Project.

We have done dozens of case studies, 5 published abstracts and 2 papers and the respect and trust of our colleagues. It is time to spread the word to pet parents.

Qtr 3  “Our founders are seasoned clinicians & published experts” 

     1)  Spudgie’s incredible transformation (25lb wt loss in a cat!) got published in the
          Feline VMA’sThe Feline Practitioner Fall 2024

     2)  Were featured on PetsApp Webinar with a worldwide audience of veterinary
​          teams with host Thom Jenkins "Telemonitoring for Veterinary Teams: How to
          Increase Efficiencies and Improve Patient Outcomes"      ​

     3)  Dr Barr Hadar defended his PhD in Epidemiology from the  Ontario Veterinary
         College (OVC) Guelph in emerging technology in veterinary medicine

     4)  Sponsor at the FelineVMA Conference  Dr Ken celebrated  6 yrs serving
         on one of the most rewarding BOD’s of his career and we celebrated an
         incredible 50 years of the association serving our beloved feline species!

We have proven improved outcomes in weight management using remote patient monitoring. Many other diseases can be managed similarly.

Qtr 4   “Getting to know what pet parents want & need from our platform”

         1)  Attended Cat Fanciers Show in October. The HPC roadtripped to the
              Cat Fanciers Associations in Cleveland, Ohio and met some great
              influencers, & cat lovers!

         2)  Onboarded amazing new development team jetbase.io focused on
              app improvement and being a truly connected platform.

         3)  Pitched at  Pet Connect 2024 Best in Show in Hollywood, Ca
              with over 400 attendees (investors, veterinarians, startups)
              in early December

Pitching on the Dolby Theater stage in Hollywood, California at a conference with over 400 attendees ending the pitch with our premier video was the 2024 year highlight, hands down. 

The video culminates over 5 years of work building the platform to transform & support (and prevent) disease in our beloved pets.
